Well, there's always Most Faces Shaved in One Hour... The world record that David Blaine wanted--Longest Breath Held Underwater--didn't fall to the stunt man Monday night. Blaine, tired, achy and presumably wrinkly from a seven-day, seven-night stay in a water-filled acrylic ball in Manhattan, held his breath for 7 minutes, 8 seconds, before divers, responding to the sight of "bubbles coming up to the surface," returned the endurance artist to dry land, the Associated Press reported. Blaine was administered oxygen, but later was sufficiently recovered to address and thank the assembled crowd, the wire service said.
